🌿 Starting therapy can feel awkward, especially if you are not sure what to say, where to begin, or whether anyone will really understand. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come.
I work with youth and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, emotionally drained, or unsure how to manage everything they are carrying. This might include stress, big emotions, school or work pressures, family conflict, relationship struggles, self-doubt, burnout, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and be yourself without judgment. Before we focus on change, we focus on connection. From there, we build practical tools to help you understand what is going on, manage emotions, communicate more clearly, and feel steadier in everyday life.
I have spent over a decade supporting children, youth, adults, and families. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with a warm, nervous-system-informed, whole-person approach. That means we will work at your pace and focus on support that actually feels useful in real life.
My background includes a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor, training in Child and Youth Care through Toronto Metropolitan University and Fanshawe College, and a business degree from Toronto Metropolitan University. At Create PAUSE Counselling & Wellness, therapy is not about “fixing” you. It is about understanding what is really going on, finding acceptance for where you are, and creating space to pause, reflect, heal, and grow.
Whether we meet in the therapy room, virtually, or outdoors through Walk & Talk Therapy, my hope is that you feel supported, understood, and less alone.
