Melissa is a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) in the Province of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Specializing in mental health & wellness therapy for children, youth and their families, Melissa has over 17 years of direct clinical experience.

Melissa earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor, a bachelors degree in Child and Youth Care from Ryerson and a Child and Youth Worker diploma from Fanshawe College. She has extensive experience and training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), crisis intervention, attachment theory, trauma assessment and treatment, brief solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and the effective use of creative interventions with children and adolescents.
